There was no communicated acceptance by the plaintiff of any offer such as would create a contract of hire with the owners; the existing contracts between the owners and Tang governed until their expiry on 7/5/77; any novation substituting the plaintiff for Tang would have required Tang's consent which was absent; therefore defendants were entitled to repossess the vessels on 8/5/77.
