The trial judge adequately discharged his s.80 duty by recording reasons consistent with authority; he was entitled to accept the prosecution witnesses despite inconsistencies; no identification warning was required for the 18 December meeting; there was sufficient evidence to conclude the appellants were involved in trafficking/offering to traffic and the appellants failed to rebut presumptions under s.47; therefore leave to appeal was refused.
