The Master held that the Defendants failed to rebut the presumption that the Plaintiff remained liable to her solicitors; the prior indemnity agreement did not extend to the arbitration or these proceedings; EH's part funding and involvement did not amount to maintenance or champerty given the close family relationship and the Plaintiff's assent; accordingly the indemnity principle was not breached and the defendants' applications failed.
