The magistrate correctly found the appellant unfit to plead, accepted psychiatrists' diagnoses and recommendations, found beyond reasonable doubt that the appellant threw a stone at the truck on 11 October 2022, and lawfully exercised the discretion under s.45 Cap.136 to order three months' inpatient treatment at Siu Lam due to the dangerous nature of the act and the need for treatment and public protection; the Court of First Instance found no error in that exercise of discretion and dismissed the appeal.
