The 1929 prohibitory order had not been re-registered as required by s.17 LRO and therefore prima facie ceased to have effect; in those circumstances, and having carried out substituted service with no appearance or objection, the court properly exercised its inherent jurisdiction to order that the registration of the Prohibitory Order in respect of the Properties be vacated.
