Magistrate's contemporaneous credibility and identification findings were not shown to be wrong on the record; identification by PW1 and PW3 was reliable and conviction was affirmed. Recent complaint evidence and identification parade evidence were properly retained and weighed. On sentence, s.109A did not apply to the excepted offence and the training centre order was discretionary and, given the facts and reports, inappropriate; appellate court substituted a sentence of imprisonment enabling immediate release.
