In a falling market where resale within a reasonable period reflects the true market value and the vendor has taken reasonable steps to mitigate, damages are properly assessed by reference to the resale price obtained within that reasonable time; incidental mortgage interest incurred during the period between breach and resale is recoverable as a natural consequence of the breach and is not double recovery.
