The appeal is dismissed because Order 45 r.8 does not empower the court to authorise a change of a company name in a manner that bypasses the statutory requirement under Companies Ordinance s.22 for a special resolution, and section 25A is inapplicable because there was no judgment or order directing a person to execute the documents; appointing the plaintiff's own solicitors would also create a conflict of interest.
