The appellate court upheld the magistrate's reliance on the CCTV as objective evidence which corroborated that the appellant grabbed and swung the doctor's arm causing him to fall; discrepancies in PW1's verbal accounts were attributable to memory lapses and did not undermine the prosecution's proof of battery with the requisite intent or recklessness, therefore conviction for common assault was sustained and the appeal dismissed.
