HASSAN NASER ABDIRAHMAN v. DIRECTOR OF IMMIGRATION AND ANOTHER
- Citation
- [2025] HKCFI 1908
- Court
- Court of First Instance
- Case number
- HCAL759/2025
The detention was lawful and not unreasonable: a valid removal order existed, the Director acted with reasonable diligence to secure travel documentation and effect removal, the applicant's persistent non-cooperation materially delayed removal and falls within s.32(4A), and the significant risks of absconding and re-offending outweighed the applicant's family and personal circumstances; accordingly habeas corpus application was dismissed.
