The Court accepted the forensic expert's conclusions that the signatures on Exhibits P2–P10 were made using ink from the same manufactured batch and probably the same pen, and the trial judge permissibly relied on that evidence and surrounding circumstances to find Exhibits P3, P4 and P5 (and related documents) were forged and back‑dated and therefore void; consequently the appellant was not the beneficial owner of 499 shares in Asian Powers and the appeal failed.
