Section 26 applies to a vessel as "other property"; the ejusdem generis rule does not exclude it because the Interpretation Ordinance requires disjunctive construction; whether property is "used in connexion with" unlawful gambling is determined by its main purpose at the time — where the main purpose is gambling, forfeiture under s.26 is mandatory — and on the facts the vessel's main purpose was gambling, so forfeiture was required.
