Yip was not an accomplice because his contacts showed tentative inquiry and he promptly reported to the police; therefore no accomplice warning was required. The police evidence about overheard conversation and colloquialisms was admissible and the jury were properly directed; the trial judge's speculative remark was not prejudicial. Consequently the Court refused leave and affirmed the convictions and sentences.
