The alleged trial errors were either not established or were immaterial in the context of the accepted core evidence (PW11 and corroborating circumstantial evidence); counsel tactical decisions did not render the trial unfair; the chain of custody was adequately explained and the evidence was sufficient to support convictions; D3's sentence was appropriate. Accordingly the applications for leave to appeal against conviction (D1, D2, D3) and against sentence (D3) were dismissed.
