The High Court held the Magistrate's sentencing approach was correct: having rejected the appellant's evidence and assessed his non-minor role and the large quantities involved, the Magistrate reasonably selected higher starting points, applied precedent appropriately and properly applied the totality principle; the aggregate sentence of 23 months was not manifestly excessive and the appeal was dismissed.
