The Court held the conviction was safe: the trial judge correctly required strict proof, fairly directed the jury on hearsay limitations, permissibly allowed a strong circumstantial inference that signatures belonged to D3 given his role and presence, and properly answered the jury that where evidence against two alleged conspirators is effectively the same inconsistent verdicts would be inexplicable; sentencing was not disturbed as within appropriate range for serious short-piling offences.
