On the admitted facts the only irresistible inference was that the appellant, as registered owner and driver with sole control of the vehicle and key in his possession, had possession of the baseball bat and the modified wooden stick in the trunk; both items were adapted and thus offensive weapons under s.2 Cap.245; the magistrate's findings were reasonable and the conviction was therefore upheld.
