The Presiding Officer properly exercised the broad discretion under section 10 LTO to decline jurisdiction and transfer the Labour Tribunal claim to the High Court because the claimant’s pleaded claims and the respondent’s particulars disclosed serious allegations involving tort and equitable remedies, complex factual issues, likely voluminous discovery, potential foreign law questions and a concurrent High Court action that risked parallel and inconsistent proceedings; her exercise of discretion was not plainly wrong.
