Identification evidence was held to be of poor quality and the only alleged supporting items (belt and pen) could not be linked to the appellant by possession or exclusive occupation of the bedroom; accordingly the trial judge should have withdrawn the case from the jury and directed an acquittal, so the conviction was quashed.
