The judge preferred the defendant's evidence as more credible and held that in context and business common sense references to 'MDRT' meant formal MDRT membership; the correct construction required both attaining the qualifying figure and being granted formal MDRT membership by MDRT before entitlement to the HK$100,000. Because the plaintiff never became an MDRT member, he was not entitled to the prize and the action was dismissed.
