On a rehearing of the evidence the court was satisfied beyond reasonable doubt that the prosecution proved all elements of theft including the appellant's identity; the magistrate's credibility findings were supported by CCTV corroboration and logical analysis, therefore the conviction and 16‑month sentence are upheld.
