    The appellate court concluded the trial judge was entitled to find the victim's identification of the applicant as Ho reliable given prolonged close contact, interactive conversation and threatening conduct that left a deep impression, corroborative physical evidence found in the flat (business cards, letter of intent, poker paraphernalia, resident card, cash) and the applicant's presence and connection to the flat; accordingly the conviction was not unsafe and the application for leave to appeal was dismissed.
