The trial judge erred in departing so radically from the established Court of Appeal guideline in R v. CHAN Tak-sang; until the guideline is reconsidered by this Court it must be given proper weight and applied, resulting in varied sentences: 1st applicant one year on each count to be consecutive; 2nd applicant nine months on each count (including conspiracy) to be consecutive (total three years each).
