The appellate court held the trial magistrate did not err in admitting dock identification because the witness had ample opportunity to observe the appellant over a prolonged period in good lighting and made a spontaneous recognition; consequently the convictions were safe and the concurrent sentences of 18 months were not manifestly excessive.
