Order 22 r24 of the RDC does not apply to judgments entered in default because such judgments do not involve a judicial determination on the merits necessary for comparing outcomes with a sanctioned offer; plaintiffs failed to establish authority to the contrary, failed to prove receipt of the sanctioned offer, and it would be unjust to impose enhanced interest and indemnity costs on a non‑appearing defendant; therefore the summons to vary the orders nisi is dismissed and the orders nisi are made absolute.
