Trial judge’s factual findings accepting prosecution witnesses, finding the cautioned interview admissible and voluntary, and concluding CCTV and surrounding facts undermined the defence made the Crown case proved beyond reasonable doubt; appellate re‑hearing found no basis to overturn those credibility findings or to conclude the conviction was unsafe, therefore appeal dismissed and conviction and 10‑month sentence upheld.
