Appeal allowed: appointment of the management committee was valid. The court held that the meeting's single-agenda process (appointments of members and office-bearers) sufficed in place of a separate resolution, the acclamation method was valid because no objection or demand for a poll was made at the time, and Mr Leung's conduct did not vitiate the meeting where those present raised no objection; under either adopted construction of s.3(2)(b) the resolution was effective in the circumstances of this case.
