The Court held that a Warning for Dismissal issued under Police General Orders is not in substance a statutory 'punishment' unauthorized by the Police (Discipline) Regulations, is permissible managerial conduct under powers to make Police General Orders (s46), does not breach natural justice where the officer is informed of reasons and can contest matters when charged, and the particular Warning was not Wednesbury unreasonable given the officer's disciplinary record; appeal dismissed.
