The trial judge's contemporaneous credibility findings were justified: the complainant's depression and minor inconsistencies did not undermine her reliability; the proven deliberate and deceptive touching by the medical practitioner constituted indecent assault, and given the planning, deception and abuse of trust the 12‑month custodial sentence was not manifestly excessive.
