Accrued interim interest on sanctioned payment belongs to the payor/respondent and must be paid out to the respondent; the sanctioned payment of $1,700,000 is to be treated as the settlement sum but must be held and invested by the Registrar and only paid out to the personal representative upon production of proper Letters of Administration because the court-appointed litigation representative was only authorised to continue proceedings and is not the personal representative empowered to receive and discharge estate assets.
