The appellate court found no error of law or principle in the trial judge's assessment: the trial judge reasonably accepted the undercover officer and expert evidence that the conduct and ceremony were triad-related and that the appellants participated knowingly; credibility and factual findings were within trial judge's province and convictions and sentences were not manifestly excessive, so appeals were dismissed.
