Plaintiff failed to prove breach of the written quotation or professional negligence and produced no expert evidence; the court accepts the written quotation as the contract and the defendant's witnesses as credible; plaintiff is estopped from pursuing the Yuen Long dispute by the parties' settlement manifested through defendant performing works at the North Point unit; defendant proved unjust enrichment and quantum of HK$56,250 for the North Point works; accordingly plaintiff's claim is dismissed and defendant's counterclaim succeeds with interest and costs awarded.
