The Court upheld the trial judge's exercise of sentencing discretion: possession charges merited custodial sentences with a starting point of 12 months, the remaining unlawfully charge a starting point of 15 months, and after mitigation the imposed terms (6 months concurrent on possession charges and 15 months consecutive on remaining unlawfully) were appropriate and not reviewable on appeal; the appeal was dismissed and two months between filing notice of appeal and hearing were ordered not to count as time served.
