Because the applicant was 19, had pleaded guilty early, assisted and given evidence, and the reports indicated suitability for rehabilitation, the appropriate sentence was a Training Centre Order; therefore the custodial sentences were quashed and substituted with Training Centre Orders and leave to appeal was granted.
