The Court refused leave to appeal because the applicant failed to demonstrate any question of great and general or public importance under s22(1)(b) of the Court of Final Appeal Ordinance, had not filed required written submissions, and the appeal had already been automatically dismissed for non‑compliance so the Court lacked jurisdiction to stay or revive it; accordingly the motion for leave was dismissed and the May 24, 2017 notice of motion was set aside.
