The court awarded the appellant costs of the original trial and of the appeal except for the costs of the 25 April 2011 hearing which were disallowed because that hearing resulted solely from the appellant's breach of her bail conditions; the appellant's exercise of the right to silence and failure to complain earlier did not amount to self-inflicted conduct justifying denial of costs, and the isolated irrelevant evidence by the appellant's sister and a late but related appellate ground did not justify withholding appeal costs.
