W demonstrated inability to reasonably procure legal representation by other means and H, despite illiquid family holdings, had sufficient accessible resources (liquid securities and continuing support from a closely connected family company) to provide interim funding; the court therefore awarded interim litigation funding at a reduced but reasonable level of HK$350,000 per month from 20 August 2021 until the end of the FDR or further order and ordered payment of arrears and costs to follow the event.
