The Court found the principal witness credible, accepted the admissibility and probative value of co-conspirator evidence and unexplained telephone contacts, and held that, on the whole of the evidence, a jury/judge properly could infer a conspiracy to supply anti-vice information for payment; therefore the conviction was safe and leave to appeal was refused.
