Because the judge's expressed concurrency could not be backdated and would produce injustice by lengthening total detention, and because the judge's manifest intention was clear, the Court set aside the 1 year 8 months sentence and substituted a sentence of 1 year imprisonment to run consecutively to the magistrate sentences to give effect to that intention.
