Because the certificate of conviction signed by the magistrate governs when records conflict, the appellant was convicted of simple possession contrary to s8(1)(a) of the Dangerous Drugs Ordinance; the two-year sentence was excessive for that offence and must be substituted with a sentence of twelve months' imprisonment.
