Plaintiffs failed to prove, on the balance of probabilities, that the defendants breached the standard of care by failing to diagnose and act on a gradual Abruptio Placentae before about 19:30; the evidence supports a sudden, concealed abruption shortly after 19:30 and there was no clinical indication prior to that time to warrant continuous CTG or senior referral, therefore no negligence and no liability.
