The Court held that on the facts the police merely provided an opportunity and the appellant demonstrated predisposition to commit the drug offence; therefore entrapment did not arise for mitigation. The enhancement for abuse of Hong Kong hospitality was justified given the appellant's status and conduct. The sentence of 3 years and 10 months was appropriate and is upheld.
