TMR r 105(1)(a) must be given an inclusive construction: the statutory address for service is available for service of proceedings whether before the Registrar or directly in the Court of First Instance; the statutory scheme (including TMO ss 77 and 85) and purposive interpretation show no intent to confine the address to registrar proceedings, so service at that address can validly found court jurisdiction and the leave application fails.
