Section 43F(2)(a) includes prior contributions made to enable payment of outstanding wages; such contributions are deemed under s.43F(3) to be payment of wages for the purposes of s.43F(1), entitling the contributor to be a creditor of the employer. On the undisputed evidence that Able Engineering advanced HK$25,000,000 which funded the wage payments, there were no triable issues and the summary judgment was correctly granted and must be affirmed.
