The trial judge properly evaluated credibility and the totality of evidence (including Exhibit P5, company employees' conduct in attending Immigration offices, and witnesses' testimony) and was justified in finding that the applicant knew the workers lacked permission to stay or work and had aided them; there was no improper shift of burden and convictions on charges 13–18 are safe.
