If a tenant validly serves a counter-notice under s7(6) the Ordinance vests jurisdiction to determine the possession application in the District Court (s7(7) and s16(6)); accordingly where that issue arises the Supreme Court should transfer the action to the District Court under s11 Cap.336 to avoid duplicate trials, and this case was so transferred.
