Balancing the trustees' duty to realise assets for creditors and the co-owner's interests, the court found that Madam Chow's age, chronic medical conditions, dependency and the improbability of securing alternative accommodation constitute exceptional and very great hardship; accordingly the trustees' application for an order for sale under s6 Partition Ordinance is dismissed.
