On rehearing the court accepted PW1's evidence and rejected the appellant's inconsistent account; applying the Court of Final Appeal standard the appellate court was satisfied beyond reasonable doubt that the appellant drove knowing PW1 was in front of the vehicle and in a manner that fell far below that of a competent and careful driver, constituting dangerous driving; accordingly the conviction is upheld.
