The appeal was dismissed because the rehearing of the evidence (including P2 and appellant's D1 footage) showed the taxi changed into the left lane while only hazard lights were on and without using the right indicator, at a close distance (approximately 2–2.5 car lengths) to PW1's vehicle; this conduct fell below the standard of a reasonable and careful driver and, together with the credible oral evidence, proved careless driving beyond reasonable doubt.
