Under Articles 51-53 a manager or supervisor is appointed for a three year term and the appointment lapses by effluxion of time if it is not renewed or extended by the Executive Council with the agreement of the majority of the school management committee; statutory registration does not prevent such lapse or create a right against the Church as owner; accordingly the defendants ceased to be managers and supervisors.
